Kimberly Berneck
President and CEO
Kimberly is president and CEO of BTM Global, and serves on its board of directors. She is charged with setting and overseeing the company’s strategic initiatives, along with its growth across all service areas. Since joining the company in 2008, Kimberly has led her teams to deliver expert solutions with transparency and consistency that build long-lasting relationships and accelerate clients’ objectives. She most recently served as BTM’s COO and as senior vice president, delivery management. Prior to joining BTM, she was the senior director of retail development at Oracle Retail. She has held positions at ShopNBC, Retek Inc. (now Oracle Retail), Plural (now Dell) Consulting and Accenture. Kimberly has a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Andy Huynh
Chief Technology Officer
Andy founded BTM Global in 2004 and has served as chief technology officer and on the board of directors since the company’s inception. Andy upholds professional standards in all aspects of what BTM Global offers clients and, as a result, clients often contact him for his perspective even outside of active engagements. He has more than 20 years of experience in complex retail application development and ERP implementations, including serving as a senior software architect at Retek, Inc. (now Oracle Retail). His successes included performance engineering and optimization for several key retail-focused applications, as well as re-platforming a mission-critical product to run on a variety of databases (Oracle, DB2 and Teradata). Andy received an electrical engineering degree from the University of Minnesota and earned a Diversity in Business Award from the Minneapolis/St Paul Business Journal. He actively works with and supports several orphanages in Vietnam.
Tom Schoen
Chief Strategy Officer
Tom is chief strategy officer of BTM Global and serves on its board of directors. He is charged with supporting the company’s vision and deepening its relationships with partners and clients. Tom previously served as BTM Global’s president and CEO for 16 years. His exceptional career includes managing complex, high-profile technology projects on a global scale, along with 30 years of software engineering experience including scientific, military and retail applications. He has held numerous leadership positions at Traveler’s Insurance, Retek Inc. (now Oracle Retail), MediSpan, and as a civilian with the U.S. Navy. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Marquette University. He serves as president of Kids Promise, a nonprofit organization he founded with other BTM Global leaders to support children’s educational dreams in Vietnam.
Julie Sirek
Senior Vice President, Operations
As senior vice president of internal operations, Julie is responsible for all company operations in the U.S., including human resources, recruiting, marketing, facilities, administration, along with strategic efforts with BTM’s partners and vendors. Prior to joining BTM Global full time, Julie was a trusted HR advisor to the company for over a decade. She has served as vice president of human resources for within the medical device, advertising and consulting industries. She also volunteers for the The Wildcat Sanctuary and is currently Chairman of the Board for that organization. Julie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
Judy Wright
Chief Financial Officer
Judy serves as chief financial officer and is responsible for overseeing all of BTM Global’s financial operations, along with supporting its growth initiatives. With more than 15 years of experience, Judy has held positions as controller at Outsell Corporation, branch controller and corporate accountant at Equus Computer Systems, and various controller positions at organizations throughout China. She is an active CPA and a member of the Minnesota Society of CPAs. She serves as member of the national and Twin Cities Chapter board of director for Financial Executives International, and she is also a Strategic Advisory Board member for University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. In 2022, Judy earned the prestigious “CFO of the Year” award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. She earned a Master of Business Administration in finance and accounting from the University of St. Thomas.
Tien Huynh
Director, Vietnam Operations
As director of Vietnam operations, Tien is responsible for managing the daily operations and delivery capabilities of BTM Global’s Vietnam office. As part of the leadership team, he guides the strategic direction, technical abilities and project delivery for this critical unit of the organization. Tien has more than 20 years of experience working in the software engineering industry. Before joining BTM Global, Mr. Tien spent many years managing large Network and Telecommunications projects for the biggest software company in Vietnam. At that time, he helped the company complete many projects of famous corporations in the world. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Ron Stafford
Director – NetSuite Practice
Ron is the director of the NetSuite practice for BTM Global and provides leadership while overseeing all aspects of practice operations, project delivery, managed services, sales support, and strategic growth. He brings a wealth of software development, implementation, project management, and operational experience to BTM across several industry verticals, including retail, supply chain, manufacturing, warehouse management, and health care. Ron has successfully managed and supported ERP implementations for companies of all sizes, in addition to designing and developing both commercial and custom software applications. Ron’s passion for building strong client relationships and supporting client transformation initiatives is key to his vision for strategically growing the NetSuite practice at BTM. Before joining BTM, Ron held various technical and leadership positions at Best Buy, HighJump Software, UST Global, and Oracle Retail. In addition to these achievements, he also provided program and project management services to companies such as Medtronic and Cargill as an independent consultant. Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Cincinnati.
