BTM Global Completes First Oracle Retail Cloud Implementation of Xstore Office in Five Months
Regional sporting goods retailer Scheels gains powerful POS solution for expanded customer service
MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 1, 2020) – BTM Global, a premier provider of system integration and development services, announced that SCHEELS, a regional sporting goods retailer, is the industry’s first cloud implementation of Oracle Retail Xstore Office Cloud Service. This milestone cloud implementation delivers a powerful and nimble Xstore Office Cloud Service with best in class point-of-service (Xstore POS) system that enables SCHEELS to provide a seamless and satisfying customer experience with integrated promotions and offers.
BTM Global led the cloud implementation of Xstore, which involved vital modifications that differentiate the capabilities and service that SCHEELS provides to their customers – over a period of just five months. With Oracle Retail Xstore, SCHEELS gains a platform for modern customer experience built on industry-standard processes and capabilities that extend beyond a loyalty program and catapult the retailer into better customer engagement.
“As a long-standing customer of Oracle and BTM Global, we were happy to work on such a unique cloud project,” said Byron Snider, information services leader, SCHEELS. “The SCHEELS leadership team believes that modern technology is critical to enhancing the experience for our associates, customers, and business partners. BTM pushed us to think critically about the solutions, driving the implementation, and providing strategic guidance on what’s best for our business needs as we move towards a checkout model that captures demand at the point of interest.”
“The key to this cloud implementation was the tight partnership between SCHEELS, BTM, and Oracle Retail,” said Tom Schoen, CEO of BTM Global. “A clear plan and good communication between all parties were essential for meeting the strategic objectives. We were thrilled to partner with SCHEELS on another project that will shape their future success.”
BTM Global is a long-standing member of the Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) Specialized program. Using its proven implementation methodology and an aggressive timeline, BTM Global helped SCHEELS get Oracle Retail up and running in less than five months.
