Red Wing Shoe Company is Live with Red Wing for Business
BTM Global delivers customization and integration services for the retailer’s largest corporate initiative of 2017.
MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 4, 2018) – BTM Global, a premier provider of retail system integration and development services, announced that Red Wing Shoe Company is live with Red Wing for Business (RWfb), a platform to support the retailer’s large base of corporate customers. Red Wing Shoe Company is a Minnesota-headquartered global leader in the manufacturing and sale of premium footwear brands. Its products are sold in more than 100 countries.
RWfb was the retailer’s largest corporate initiative of 2017. BTM Global led customization and integration services, including the integration of the existing Oracle Retail Xstore solution with systems that support RWfb; collaboration with a third-party vendor on end-to-end capabilities and processes; and overall testing. Red Wing Shoe Company is now able to streamline their industrial business accounts and eliminate many of the manual processes. For instance, the retailer formerly received hundreds of mail-in paper vouchers each day and had to manually reconcile each one; with RWfb, Red Wing Shoe Company now has system-generated vouchers that automatically reconcile to the program account upon transaction.
In addition, BTM Global implemented offline processing in Xstore, allowing for Red Wing Shoe Company’s mobile truck store registers to function offline in remote areas – without the need to write paper tickets.
