BTM Global has been honored with an industry award recognizing its exceptional innovation and execution in delivering one of the first Oracle implementations to seamlessly integrate Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Retail Xstore POS, and Oracle Retail Customer Engagement Cloud Services (CECS), all within an impressive 90 days.
This milestone project was for India Bazaar, a growing Tier 2 grocery retailer, showcasing BTM Global’s ability to deliver enterprise-grade Oracle solutions to emerging retailers, setting a new standard for scalability, speed, and innovation.
Delivering a Unified Oracle Ecosystem
Before, India Bazaar operated on a fragmented system landscape that limited scalability and efficiency. BTM Global implemented one of the first implementations combining Oracle NetSuite SaaS, Oracle Retail Xstore POS, Oracle Retail CECS Saas, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), proving Oracle’s “Better Together” vision.
BTM developed custom integration layers to seamlessly connect multiple business platforms and enabled electronic shelf label functionality through a third-party system. This allowed the client to unify CRM, loyalty, promotions, ERP, finance, and POS operations within one cohesive ecosystem.
Key innovations included tailored integrations to streamline communication across systems and the implementation of a third-party electronic shelf label solution.
A fully integrated architecture, hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), replaced disconnected legacy systems with a centralized, efficient, secure, and future-ready technology stack.
This project set a new bar for modularity, integration, and operational value in the Tier 2 and 3 grocery and retail segments previously underserved by Oracle. Additionally, BTM will be extending innovation through self-checkout and mobile POS in future phases.

In just 90 days, the organization launched multiple Oracle platforms, new payment gateways, and upgraded devices, achieving a rapid time-to-market well ahead of industry norms.

BTM collaborated with both Oracle Retail and NetSuite on this opportunity from the start. Rather than using a patchwork of disconnected point solutions, the client embraced a single-vendor strategy, selecting Oracle for its depth, integrated 
roadmap, and simplicity of support. Oracle’s ability to deliver best-in-class POS and omni-channel selling capabilities, a 360 view of the customer, ERP, and financials across applications that are ‘right-sized’ for smaller retailers makes them more competitive against other software solutions that traditionally focus on ‘one tier’ within the retail market.
This approach also supported corporate and franchise operations through shared infrastructure, an uncommon model in the grocery space. Competing solutions could not match Oracle’s unified stack and leading capabilities.
The 90-day turnaround time was achieved by applying BTM’s proven, proprietary process and methodology, which focuses on leveraging Oracle’s base application functionality to the fullest before exploring extensions and customizations. BTM’s collaborative approach enabled the client’s lean IT staff to roll out their additional stores and provide Level 1 and 2 support to their business teams. Post-launch, the solution required minimal rework, thanks to minimal customizations.
