What are your responsibilities at the company?
At BTM Global, I serve as a Technical Architect focused on Oracle Retail and XStore solutions. I help shape the overall technical direction of retail programs by translating business needs into scalable system designs, guiding development teams, and ensuring integrations and customizations align with best practices. I also work closely with clients and delivery teams to solve complex technical challenges and ensure solutions perform reliably in real-world store environments.
What made you want to join the team?
What initially attracted me to BTM Global was its multicultural and diverse work environment, along with the openness and visibility across all levels of the organization. From early interactions, it was clear that BTM encourages collaboration, values different perspectives, and provides opportunities to learn directly from experienced leaders. That culture, combined with the chance to grow and contribute in a meaningful way, made BTM an appealing place to build my career.
What excites you about your work?
What excites me most is designing and delivering solutions that balance Oracle Retail’s out-of-the-box capabilities with complex integrations across multiple enterprise systems. While we aim to leverage standard functionality wherever possible, many client environments require tight integration with payments, merchandising, customer, and legacy systems. Designing these integrations correctly and implementing them within aggressive timelines is both challenging and rewarding, especially when the solution performs reliably in real-world retail operations.
What do you wish others in the industry knew about the company?
BTM is not just an implementation partner, it is a trusted advisor that understands retail operations, Oracle Retail products, and the realities of large enterprise deployments. The level of technical knowledge, collaboration, and commitment to client success at BTM sets it apart from typical consulting firms.
What keeps you interested in this industry?
Retail technology is fast-moving and constantly evolving, which keeps the work challenging and relevant. The mix of real-time store operations, complex integrations, and changing customer expectations makes every project different.
Why did you decide to join the company?
I joined BTM as a Technical Lead, and what stood out from the beginning was the diverse culture and the enthusiasm of the people I interacted with during the interview process. Their passion for the work and openness about collaboration made a strong impression. Over time, BTM provided opportunities to grow into a Senior Technical Lead and eventually into a Technical Architect role, which reinforced that it is a place where talent is recognized and career growth is genuinely supported.
Tell us about your life outside of work.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my wife and our two kids. We enjoy being together, and I also like working on small home projects, experimenting with home automation, learning new technologies, and relaxing with a good movie.
