BTM Global Announces New President and CEO
Tom Schoen to transition from CEO to chief strategy officer; Kimberly Berneck named as successor.
MINNEAPOLIS (January 13, 2023) – BTM Global, a premier provider of system implementation and integration services for Oracle Retail and Oracle NetSuite, announced Tom Schoen’s decision to step down from his position as president and CEO effective March 31, 2023. Kimberly Berneck will be appointed president and CEO.
Schoen will serve as chief strategy officer and continue as a member of the BTM Global board of directors. He will also continue as president of Kids Promise, a nonprofit he founded with other BTM Global leaders to support children’s educational dreams in Vietnam.
Schoen joined BTM Global in 2007 as the company’s first president and CEO, helping to architect the company’s vision and strategy. Under his leadership, BTM has grown and expanded throughout the Oracle Retail and Oracle NetSuite partner ecosystems. Today, the company serves retail, manufacturing, government, business and wholesale clients around the world with nearly 200 employees in Minneapolis and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. As chief strategy officer, Schoen will support the vision of BTM Global and deepen its relationships with partners and clients.

Kimberly Berneck will lead the company as it grows its technology implementation, integration, development and support services, and will continue to serve on the board of directors. Since joining BTM Global in 2008, Berneck has led her teams to deliver expert solutions with transparency and consistency that builds long-lasting relationships and accelerate clients’ objectives. Previously, Berneck served as COO and as senior vice president, delivery management at BTM Global.
