BTM Global Announces Scheels Service Shop Integration is Live
Joint development project speeds up transactions for associates and customers
MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 12, 2017) – BTM Global, a premier provider of retail system integration and development services, announced that Scheels, a regional sporting goods retailer, is live with its Service Shop Integration. A joint development effort between Scheels and BTM Global, the project enables associates to complete transactions faster and provides a smoother, more efficient experience for customers.
Scheels’ in-house application now interfaces with the Oracle Retail Point-of-Service system (ORPOS). Associates can perform just one scan to retrieve a suspended transaction for the total invoice, enabling Scheels to process transactions more efficiently and accurately, as well as track and maintain accountability between the in-house system and ORPOS. The project is live across all of Scheels’ 26 stores in 11 states.
